Rate limits - ProbSights

Authenticated API requests are rate limited per plan. Exceeding your limit returns 429 with a Retry-After header indicating how long to wait. Response headers on successful requests include:

`X-RateLimit-Limit-Second`	Per-second ceiling for your tier
`X-RateLimit-Limit-Minute`	Per-minute ceiling
`X-RateLimit-Limit-Day`	Daily ceiling when applicable
`X-RateLimit-Remaining`	Tokens remaining in the current window

Endpoints excluded from rate limits

These paths are not counted against your quota:

`/v1/whales/public/**`	Public whale feed and catalog
`/v1/auth/**`	Dashboard login and registration
`/v1/api-keys`, `/v1/account/**`	Key and usage management
`/webhook/`, `/actuator/`	Internal / health

Search and public whale routes are also callable without an API key.

Default limits by tier

Limits apply to authenticated requests on rate-limited routes (historical, arbitrage, user whale routes, /v1/trades, /v1/webhooks, etc.).

Exact quotas may change — check your account dashboard for the live allowance on your key. Per-customer overrides may apply for enterprise accounts.
